Most point programs involving VIP tiers offer a point multiplier for different tiers. (Bronze 1x points, Silver 1.5x points, Gold 2x points and so forth) This can be done using our Rule Conditions. You can also use these for any other reward or earning types that you want to limit to certain VIP programs.
1. For the Base settings simply use a points denomination that works for you based on the multiplier you're advertising to your customers. (Bronze 2 pts per $1. Silver 3 points per $1)2. Using "Include" Will specify that only the included VIP tier will be eligible for a given earning or reward.
3. Using "Exclude" Will ensure that all tiers except the excluded will be eligible for the given earning or reward.
*Notes:
a.) For the first tier (In this example, Bronze tier) of your rewards program if this tier is available to everyone, meaning their is no requirement for entry, be sure to use the Exclude rule to ensure that guest checkouts will still be awarded points. Otherwise new customers will not receive the award.
Example:
b.) Adding several rule conditions will implement an OR condition. Meaning to say, in the example below, all customers that are "Gold" tier will be rewarded with points, and all customers with the customer tag "Regular" will also be rewarded with points.

You can edit the reward expiration email content under Settings - Emails - Reward Expiry Reminder
Applies to
Only applicable to Shopify and Woocommerce platforms.
This setting will allow you to restrict the application of the generated coupon code to only selected collections/categories in the store.
Shopify: The collection IDs will have to be entered in the setting (not the collection tag).
Woocommerce: The category IDs will have to be entered in the setting.
Earning/Redeem Limit
This feature is only available on the Business plan and above.
This setting will allow you to determine the limit of the earning/spending rule based on a time period (lifetime/year/month/week/day).
For example, you can set up a promotion to allow customers to earn an additional 1000 points for their first purchase made in the store. This would be a one-time offer for each customer account, hence it can be set to have an earning limit of once per lifetime:
Another example would be to set up a big discount coupon that is redeemable once per month, to prevent abuse of the coupon and also make it more exclusive for customers to strive for:
Delay Interval
This setting will allow you to set a delay interval for rewarding points to customers. This setting could be used to prevent customers from abusing the rewards program such as placing an order, but returning the order in a short time and utilizing the points for another order.
For example, a 10 days interval is set for the "Make A Purchase" activity. Below is how the Delay Interval would Apply:
- Customer place an order on 1st May.
- Customer earns 10 points.
- Customer will only be able to use the 10 points on 11th May.
Effective Dates
You can specify a date range in which a specific earning/spending rule will be effective, this is especially useful if there are campaigns planned in the store for special occasions/events.
For example, you can offer bonus points for purchases made during the New Year, by setting the effective date of the earning rule from 01/01/2021 to 02/01/2021
Any rules outside of the effective date will be inactive and hidden within the launcher and widgets.
