Setting up custom earning rules will require integration with Stamped's API endpoint. This feature can be used to reward customers for any actions not found in the default list of earning rules. For example, you can reward customers with points for sharing a recipe with the store or contributing content to a campaign.
The guide below provides instructions for both our Loyalty Classic and Loyalty 2.0 experiences.
Note: New Loyalty & Rewards installations use Loyalty 2.0 by default. Unless you're working with an existing store that is still on Loyalty Classic, follow the Loyalty 2.0 instructions in this guide. The Loyalty Classic section is included for legacy accounts only.

Loyalty Classic
- Go to the points program section to create a custom activity:
- Once the rule is created, enter the settings of the rule scroll to the Trigger Activity section. You will find the instructions to trigger the earning rule, using either API or Javascript:

- Go to the points program section. Under Custom Rules, click Custom Activity.
- Once the rule is created, complete your rule settings, then scroll to the Trigger Activity section. You will find instructions for triggering the earning rule using API.
