Finding review IDs in Stamped
- From your Stamped dashboard, go to the Reviews section and select a review from any tab
- You'll find the review ID at the end of the URL in your browser:
Copying the full URL works just as well as copying the number on its own, since the ID is contained in it.
Understanding the review detail page
Opening a review shows everything Stamped holds about that submission. This is useful context when you are investigating a specific review.
The review itself
- Star rating, review title and review body as the customer submitted them
- Product reviewed, and the customer's answer to the recommendation question if you have it enabled ("I recommend this product" or "I don't recommend this product")
- Additional answers, which are the responses to any custom form questions you have set up
- Photos & Videos submitted with the review, where you can also add media yourself
Reviewer and source information
- Reviewer name and the date submitted
- Verified badge, shown when the review has been matched to a real order. See Managing Reviews: Verified Reviews & the Verified Buyer Badge
- Source, showing how the review arrived, for example a review request email, the on-site widget, an import, or the Shop app
- Country and IP address captured at submission
Status and actions
The buttons across the top of the review reflect and control its current state:
- Publish / Unpublish - whether the review is live in your widgets. Unpublished reviews are excluded from your average rating. See Moderating Reviews: edit, publish, unpublish & archive
- Archive - removes the review from your storefront while retaining it under the Archived tab
- Feature / Unfeature - pins the review for use in featured review widgets. See Set Featured Review
- Share - post the review to Facebook, X (Twitter) or Pinterest, or copy a direct link to it
Which tab a review sits in within the Reviews section (for example Published or Archived) tells you its status at a glance without opening it. See Filter to View Reviews.
Replies, tags and analysis
- Reply - respond publicly, so your reply appears beneath the review in your widget, or privately, so only the customer sees it. See Managing Reviews: Reply to reviews
- Tags - internal labels used for filtering and for controlling which reviews appear in certain widgets. See Adding tags to reviews
- StampedIQ Analysis - on plans that include StampedIQ, the topics detected in the review, a summary, and its sentiment score. Sentiment is derived from the review text rather than the star rating, so a positive-sounding review can still score low if it mentions a problem. See StampedIQ: Insights Analysis
Sharing a review with support
When you contact support@stamped.io about a specific review, include:
- The review ID, or the full URL of the review page
- Your store URL
- The expected behavior, and what happened instead
