Benefits of email sequences

Email sequences improve your review response conversion rate by asking for a review multiple times. Customers don't always complete their review on the first email, so reaching out multiple times increases your chance of receiving a review.

  • Each sequence can have different subject lines and content, so you can tweak your content strategy and improve your performance over time
  • Track conversion rates for each sequence to identify your best-performing content and timing - this can be viewed by going to the Stamped dashboard, clicking Analytics > Dashboards and looking at the Total Review Request Emails Sent report

How to add email sequences

To increase the chances of customers leaving a review, we recommend that you use a sequence of 1 main request and 2 follow-up emails (3 emails total). This approach increases the likelihood of capturing more reviews by keeping the request top of mind and demonstrating a commitment to customer feedback! 

  1. In the Stamped dashboard, go to Settings > Customize > Reviews > Review Request Sequence
  2. Click on Add sequence to add another email sequence; this will be sent to customers who did not submit a review through the 1st email sent. The number of days can be updated under the Interval and you can choose to send your emails based on days after fulfillment, or order placed. 
  3. Each sequence can be individually customized, just like your original review email
  4. Up to 3 additional email sequences can be added (4 total emails)

  • The first sequence is sent to customers XX days after fulfillment
  • If the customer hasn't written the review within XX days, the second email in the sequence will be sent to the customer 
  • If the customer still hasn't written the review, within another XX days, the third email in the sequence will be sent to the customer

How to delete email sequences

The first email sequence cannot be deleted.

To delete additional emails in your sequence, select the email and click the Delete Sequence button at the bottom of the page:
