Checkout Reviews are short reviews left by customers after they make a purchase in response to one question: “Why did you buy this item?” This gives three types of powerful results:
- Visibility into what influences purchase decisions for your customers
- Increased user-generated content to showcase on your site and in marketing materials
- Most importantly, the beginning of an enriched customer data profile based on zero-party data

Key Notes
- This feature is only available for Shopify users on a paid plan
- Checkout reviews are not currently supported in Shopify's new Checkout Extensibility; it's in our roadmap to support this feature in future updates.

Enabling Checkout Reviews
- Navigate to your Stamped Dashboard and head to Settings > Customize > Checkout Reviews
- Enable the toggle and click Save
- To edit the button colour, navigate to Settings > Branding > Emails and enter your preferred hex code under the Button background option

Installing the Checkout Comments Widget
The widget code for the above Checkout Comments widgets needs to be generated from the Stamped dashboard here:
