Setting reviews as "featured" allows you to showcase your preferred reviews first in widgets. Follow this guide to learn more!
Featured sorting is a Main Widget feature. Only published reviews display on your storefront, and only the Main Widget honours the Featured sort type. Carousel and other display widgets do not support featured sorting. Allow a few hours for changes to appear, as widget content is cached, and test in an incognito window before reporting an issue.

How to assign featured reviews
- In the Stamped dashboard, go to the Reviews tab and select a review you want to feature
- Click Feature at the top of the page
- Repeat this process for any other reviews you'd like to feature
- Next, update your widget's sort type. Go to Display > Widgets > Main Widget > Customization, then change your Sort Type to Featured. All featured reviews will then show at the top of your main widget!
For other display widgets, you can add the following attribute to your CSS code to change the sort type: data-sort-reviews="featured"
Limitations
- Featured reviews appear in review submission date order, not the order you featured them. Manual reordering is not supported.
- The Main Widget applies one sort rule at a time, so Featured cannot be combined with another sort such as With Photos.
- With Product Groups, featured sorting only detects reviews featured on the main product. Reviews featured on grouped or child products will not surface in the group's aggregated list.
- Only the Main Widget supports featured sorting. Carousel and other display widgets ignore it.
- Changes are not instant. Widget content is cached, so allow a few hours and check in an incognito window before reporting a problem.
