Review emails will start generating in Stamped once the app is installed. If you need more time to set up the app, review requests can be paused from generating until you're ready. Follow this guide to learn more!
Key Notes
- Pausing does not reduce your order usage. Every order in your store counts toward your monthly order limit whether or not a review request is sent. See our Billing guide and Exclusion Settings if your goal is to stop requests for particular orders rather than all of them.
-
Requests that fall due while you are paused are archived, not deleted. They are also not sent automatically when you switch requests back on. If you would like them sent, contact support@stamped.io and we can reprocess them for you.
If yours have stopped and you did not pause them, the usual causes are exceeding your monthly order limit (requests resume at your next billing cycle), an exclusion rule filtering those orders out, or cancelled and returned orders being archived automatically. If none of those apply, contact support@stamped.io with your store URL and a recent order number.
Pausing Review Requests
- In the Stamped dashboard, head to Settings > Customize > Reviews > Review Request Sequence
- Toggle OFF the Enable Review Requests button
- Any review requests due to be sent out when the setting is disabled will be moved to the archived queue instead, which allows you to send them out at a later date
Resuming review requests
- Go back to Settings > Customize > Reviews > Review Request Sequence
- Toggle Enable Review Requests back ON
- Click Save
Verify that new orders will resume generating review requests on your configured schedule. After your next order is processed, open Queue > Review Requests and confirm a request appears as pending. This is because the review request will be scheduled according to your delay interval, so it will show as pending rather than sent.
Requests archived during the pause remain in the Archived tab and are not sent when you re-enable. Please refer to the Key Notes above.
