Account: Stamped Account Types & User Management

This article describes all available account types that determine user permission levels for Stamped and how to add/remove users.

Stamped account types

• Store Owner:
  Has full control of the store with all sections and functionality access within the subscription tier
• Store Admin:
  Has control over most of the store aside from managing the Shop Profile, Store Owner, and API keys
• Member:
  Has restricted access to dashboard sections depending on permissions given

Adding a new user account

1. Head over to Account and click on the "Invite User" button under User Management:
   
    

2.  Click on “Send Invitation” once you have entered the Email and Role:

   

3. The new user will receive an invite email to activate the account: 
   
4. Click on the link and you will be redirected to set a new password for the account:
   
5. Once the password is submitted, the user can log in with their email address and newly created password to access the account.

Remove user account

To remove any of the existing User Accounts click on the ... icon beside the account you would like to remove, and select Delete:

Reset password

• Navigate to https://stamped.io/account/signin
• Click on Forgot Password and enter your email address. 

• You will receive a Reset Password email from Stamped

  

• Click on the link to reset your password
• Create a new password

Edit User

• To update the user, navigate to https://go.stamped.io/account/settings

• Edit user to update the role

  

Store access

Whether you log in via a platform (like Shopify) or log in via our website, you must have an associated email/user account in Stamped.

If a user tries to access through Shopify & their user is not listed under the Accounts > User Management section, they will not be able to access the store. In this case, you must reach out to your store owner and ask to be invited as a user of Stamped. This ensures merchants have a more secure and granular control of who is accessing their Stamped dashboard and their level of permissions. It also allows store owners and admins the ability to more comfortably onboard and offboard their staff/users into Stamped.
