Shopify: Using tags to set up different delay intervals for specific products

Using Shopify's tag system, you can set up different delay intervals for specific products, to further control when emails are sent to customers. Follow this guide to learn more!


Key Notes

  • This feature is only available to Shopify users
  • Using tags to determine your delay interval only applies to the first email sent in your review sequence; subsequent emails in your sequence follow the delay interval set in the Stamped dashboard

Applying the tag

  • In your Shopify admin, find the products you'd like to set a specific interval delay for
  • Add the tag review-schedule-{number of days} to your products, being sure to indicate the number of days 
  • Once the tag is applied, all newly generated review requests with the tagged product featured in the email will be sent out XX number days after fulfillment of the order for the first email sequence

For example, if you would like the review requests for a specific product to be sent out 5 days after fulfillment, the tag review-schedule-5 should be applied:
