Incorrect Date Formats

The created_at date on which the review was submitted should be in the following format:
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS

See the image below on how to change the date format before attempting to upload the review file.

Product IDs in scientific format

While this formatting issue is not known to cause any errors that prevent the import process, it will lead to the reviews not being assigned to the correct products. We recommend using Google Sheets to format and export the file as Excel tends to cause formatting issues.

Scientifically formatted IDs: 6.63E+12
Correctly formatted IDs: 1234567890

Missing headers

If a header is marked as required in our import guide linked here, your file will not work without it present. Please make sure all required headers and fields are in place and completed.

Empty Rows

Ensure that your CSV file has no missing rows in between the provided review data.

Junk Characters

The appearance of  "junk characters" in imported reviews is usually due to formatting issues when exporting reviews from your previous reviews app into a CSV file. To fix this, search and replace all the characters using CTRL+F in Google Sheets before importing into Stamped.
