With the Drip + Stamped integration, you'll be able to create automation emails to target specific customer groups based on their recent loyalty events.
For example, you can send a "happy birthday" email to the customer on their birthday, or an email for new points earned. It's also possible to include the customer's balance rewards points, referral link, or customer birthdate as a section in your email template, to be used in campaigns.
Follow this guide to learn how to set up the Drip + Stamped integration.

Setting Up The Drip + Stamped Integration
First, you will need 2 values from your Drip account to set up the integration.
- Account ID: Go to Settings - Account - General Info
- API Key: Go to User Settings - User Info
- In your Stamped dashboard, go to Settings - Apps - Drip and paste your Account ID and API Key
- Click Save to complete the integration set-up
Sync Customer Properties
Once the integration is set up, click Sync Customer Properties to push the review data from Stamped over to Drip. They will be populated under custom fields of each customer profile within Drip.
Note: This has only to be done once during the initial integration set-up. Moving forward, the sync will be automated.
Using a Custom Field to Automate an Action
Loyalty activities need to be done in your store to push custom fields to Drip's customer profiles. Therefore, we suggest completing all available loyalty activities with a test account to push all the custom fields to Drip.
To see available custom fields, go to the People section of your Drip dashboard and find a profile of a customer who has completed a loyalty activity after the integration set-up.
Below are the available custom fields for Stamped Loyalty:
- stamped_rewards_points
- stamped_rewards_birthday
- stamped_rewards_created_date
- stamped_rewards_referral_link
You can use the Updated Custom Field event as a trigger to automate an action.
This is useful for a Basic Automation Rule such as sending an email for the customer's newly earned points:
Creating a Segment based on Rewards Custom Field
- Go to the People section of your Drip dashboard
- Click'Choose A Filter - Custom Field, then choose the rewards custom field attached to the customer's profile:
- Click Save Segment. You can now include your newly created Segment in your workflow.
Including Customer Properties Into The Email Template
These properties will be pushed to Drip's personalize property:
- {{ subscriber.stamped_rewards_created_date }}
- {{ subscriber.stamped_rewards_birthday }}
- {{ subscriber.stamped_rewards_created_date }}
- {{ subscriber.stamped_rewards_points }}
- {{ subscriber.stamped_rewards_referral_link }}
- Create an email template in Drip
- Click Personalize
- Select the customer property that you would like to include in your email.
Example: {{ subscriber.stamped_rewards_birthday }} would return the customer's birth date set within the Stamped account. {{ subscriber.stamped_rewards_points }} would return earned points. - Click Save
Common Use Case and Example of Customer Properties
You can use the integration to send a reminder email to loyalty customers and remind them to shop and spend their points if they haven't made a purchase in six months and include the customers' points balance in the email.
- In your Drip dashboard, create a segment for loyalty customers who have not shopped in your store for the last 6 months
- Create a flow with your newly created segment
- Create an Action and choose Send a one-off email
- Use the customer property {{ subscriber.stamped_rewards_points }} in the email to dynamically update and display your customers' current points balance
