Loyalty & Rewards: Creating and Editing Layouts

Follow this guide to learn how to customize your email templates one step further by creating and editing your email layouts.

The guide below provides instructions for both our Loyalty Classic and Loyalty 2.0 experiences.

Note: New Loyalty & Rewards installations use Loyalty 2.0 by default. Unless you're working with an existing store that is still on Loyalty Classic, follow the Loyalty 2.0 instructions in this guide. The Loyalty Classic section is included for legacy accounts only.

How To Create A New Layout - Loyalty Classic

1. Go to Settings - Layouts
2. Select the layout of your choice by clicking Edit. This will create a separate copy for you to edit to your liking, so you don't have to worry about losing the default layout.

How To Create A New Layout - Loyalty 2.0

1. Go to Display > Loyalty Emails > Layouts 
   
2. Select the layout of your choice by clicking Edit. This will create a separate copy for you to edit to your liking, so you don't have to worry about losing the default layout.

Editing Your Layout - Loyalty Classic

1. Edit your email layout as you like, then click Create once you've finished editing. It will become available as an option in your email layout settings.
   
   Note: Our Layout Editor accepts HTML, CSS (internal or inline), and Liquid, so you'll need prior knowledge and/or developer assistance.

1. Edit your email layout to your liking, then click Create once you've finished editing. It will become available as an option in your email layout settings.
